ASERL FALL 2018 MEMBERSHIP MEETING -- WELCOME!
All ASERL library Deans/Directors are invited to join us for our Fall 2018 Membership Meeting on November 29-30, 2018.  We will gather at the Hyatt Atlanta Midtown, where we met in 2014 and 2015.  For travel planning, here’s the basic structure of our agenda.  Details of discussion topics/processes to be finalized in the coming weeks and will be posted to the ASERL home page as soon as it is available -- see http://www.aserl.org. 

   Nov 28 – 3:00pm:  ASERL Board Meeting
   Nov 28 – 5:30pm:  Informal snacks/drinks for those attendees who arrive early

   Nov 29 – 9:00am:  Optional tours of Emory/Georgia Tech Library Serice Center *or* GSU Library. 
   Nov 29 – 12noon:  Optional box lunch
   Nov 29 – 1:00pm:  ASERL Fall Membership Meeting – General Session #1
   Nov 29 – 5:30pm:  Members’ Reception at Woodruff Library, Emory University
   Nov 29 – Evening:  Optional Dinner Groups / On your own

   Nov 30 – 8:00am:  Breakfast
   Nov 30 – 8:30am:  ASERL Fall Membership Meeting – General Session #2
   Nov 30 – 12noon:  Adjourn / Depart

AREA LIBRARY TOURS and SOCIAL ACTIVITIES
On the evening of November 28, we will gather for informal drinks & snacks for those who will be in town at that time.

On the morning of November 29, we will offer optional tours to the EmTech Library Service Center, a joint project of Emory and Georgia Tech, and a tour of new spaces and services offered by Georgia State University Libraries.  There is an additional fee for these tours, to cover the cost of transportation to/from each site.

On the evening of november 29, we will offer a Members' Reception at Emory University Libraries, including tours of various spaces and services created by Emory.  Our thanks to Yolanda Cooper and the EUL team for underwriting the cost of this event and the transportation.

HOTEL ROOM BLOCK
All attendees are responsible for their own travel arrangements and costs.  ASERL has a room block reserved through October 26 at the Hyatt Atlanta Midtown with a rate of $199/night.  Please make your reservations online at https://book.passkey.com/e/49732875.  Reservations must be made by October 26 to secure this rate. 

CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY
Cancellations are permitted until November 16, 2018; full refunds will be provided until this date.  No refunds will be provided for cancellations after November 16, 2018 or for no-show attendees. Substitutions can be made at any time.
